Objectives of the Project:

  •  Inception: Literature review, remote participate in regional workshop, inception report, etc.
  • Material flow analysis for waste plastics: Define main plastic supply chains and waste pathways,
  • collect data (secondary sources) for a material flow analysis of plastic waste, etc.  Regulatory and policy and programs stocktaking and gap analysis to plastics production and
  • recycling: Assess viability of solutions to reduce plastic waste problem, progress on EPR   Stakeholder and socio-economic analysis
  •  Hotspots assessment for marine plastic debris
  • Consolidation: Second remote workshop, contribute to Final (Regional) report

Detail Description of Actual Services will be provided by CC’s Experts and Staff:

The main activities in the project included;

  • Engage with international team to finalize details of methodology and work plan
  • Material flow analysis for waste plastics
  • Define main plastic supply chains and waste pathways and understand the methodology
  • Regulatory and policy and programs stocktaking and gap analysis
  • Assess viability of solutions to reduce plastic waste problem
  • Stakeholder and socio-economic analysis
  • Stakeholder mapping and socio-economic analysis for each country
  • Hotspots assessment for marine plastic debris
  • Consolidation and Second remote workshop (Remote participation) Contribute to Final (Regional) report.
