Objectives of the Project:
- Inception: Literature review, remote participate in regional workshop, inception report, etc.
- Material flow analysis for waste plastics: Define main plastic supply chains and waste pathways,
- collect data (secondary sources) for a material flow analysis of plastic waste, etc. Regulatory and policy and programs stocktaking and gap analysis to plastics production and
- recycling: Assess viability of solutions to reduce plastic waste problem, progress on EPR Stakeholder and socio-economic analysis
- Hotspots assessment for marine plastic debris
- Consolidation: Second remote workshop, contribute to Final (Regional) report

The main activities in the project included;
- Engage with international team to finalize details of methodology and work plan
- Material flow analysis for waste plastics
- Define main plastic supply chains and waste pathways and understand the methodology
- Regulatory and policy and programs stocktaking and gap analysis
- Assess viability of solutions to reduce plastic waste problem
- Stakeholder and socio-economic analysis
- Stakeholder mapping and socio-economic analysis for each country
- Hotspots assessment for marine plastic debris
- Consolidation and Second remote workshop (Remote participation) Contribute to Final (Regional) report.
